Downside Fisher Youth Club

The Downside Fisher Youth Club supports socially excluded children and young people from Bermondsey and its neighbouring areas, and helps them to fulfil their potential as capable, confident young adults through a structured programme of sporting, artistic and recreational activities.

WE’RE NEARLY BACK!!

It is May. Gradually, we are moving back into our wonderfully refurbished home. The work is not quite complete but some of the facilities and office space are now up and active.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MARATHON RUNNERS Munish Chopra, Shane Clark and Patrick Dacey, all of whom completed the full course.

Manager. I know the area like the back of my
hand; I also know what a well-directed youth
club can contribute to young people living in a
deprived Inner City environment. Look what it
did for me!
A message from the club manager

Danny Webb is Manager of Downside Fisher Youth Club. Born and brought up in Bermondsey, he has wide experience of youth work including youth employment training and working with young people with special needs. He was a Senior Youth Worker in Yorkshire for 20 years, and has sat on local government youth consultancy boards.
